Combined contraceptive pills or combination birth control pills, contain two hormones:

This birth control pill contains ONLY progestogen and no estrogen at all. It is slightly less
effective than the ordinary combination pill, but is used by certain women as it is particularly useful for
some groups of women who should not take a combination birth control pill or for whom it is a risky
such as: new mothers who are breastfeeding, diabetics, smokers, women whose blood pressure has
gone up on the ordinary combination and older women.

Yasmin contains 30 mcg of ethinyl estradiol ("low dose") along with a unique progestin that also helps

These high dose progestin only emergency contraceptives (containing levonorgestrel) are used to
