Strong Pain Killers : Analgesic Barbiturates : NSAIDs

Valparin : Valproic Acid or Sodium Valproate is used as an anticonvulsant and mood stabilizer to
treat certain types of seizures and convulsions associated with epilepsy and for treating bipolar disorder
and schizophrenia. Valproic acid is also used as a pain killer to prevent migraine headaches.

Vicodin: is a combination of the narcotic analgesic or painkiller (Hydrocodone bitartrate) and the non
narcotic analgesic acetaminophen (also called paracetamol) used for relieving moderate to severe pain.
Vicoprofen: is a combination of Hydrocodone bitartrate and the anti inflammatory drug Ibuprofen.

Voltaren: Voltarol : Voveran (Diclofenac) is an NSAID painkiller used for treating conditions such as
arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis) and other musculoskeletal disorders.
Diclofenac is available in oral form (tablets or capsules), injections, suppositories or topical gel.

Zanaflex (Tizanidine) is a muscle relaxant used to relax tense and rigid muscles caused by spasticity.
Tizanidine is also sometimes used for low back pain and headaches caused by muscle tension.

Zaldiar: contains Tramadol 37.5mg and acetaminophen 325mg (aka paracetamol). Tramadol is a
centrally acting synthetic opioid analgesic (pain killer), which relieves moderate to severe pain such as
pain following surgery, dental surgery and other chronic pain.

Zomig (Zolmitriptan) is a Serotonin 5-HT 1 receptor antagonist used as a pain killer to treat acute
migraine headaches (with or without aura) in adults. It is not intended to prevent migraines.
Oral Zomig is available as film coated tablets, sublingual : Rapimelt (orally dissolvable) and chewable
tablets as well as Zomig nasal spray or nasal inhalers.
Zydone: is a combination of the narcotic analgesic or painkiller (Hydrocodone) and acetaminophen.
Zyloprim and Zyloric (Allopurinol) is used to treat gout including chronic gout (gouty arthritis).
