Eletriptan is a selective 5-HT1B/D receptor-agonist migraine therapy.
Eletriptan relieves the pain and symptoms of migraine headaches and cluster headaches by causing the blood vessels in the brain to narrow.
Eletriptan brands Relpax and Relert treat migraine pain and symptoms (such as nausea and sensitivity to light and sound), but will not prevent
migraine from starting or decrease the number of migraine attacks. Pfizer distribute eletriptan as Relpax or Relert according to the country.
Ordering options for Relpax and Relert are below. No prescription is needed, the pharmacies
will require an online consultation via questionnaire, to enable their staff physician to issue a prescription (this is always a free consultation).
