Rivotril (Clonazepam) is a benzodiazepine used to treat seizures and
panic disorders. It is used for certain types of epileptic seizures, specifically petit mal seizures, akinetic seizures, and myoclonus. Clonazepam is also
indicated for the treatment of panic disorder, with or without agoraphobia, as defined in DSM-IV. Clonazepam is also used for the short-term relief of
the symptoms of anxiety, restless leg syndrome, and trigeminal neuralgia. Other clonazepam brand names include: Klonopin also by Roche.
