 Valium (Diazepam) is a benzodiazephine, commonly used used to
relieve anxiety, muscle spasms and seizures and to control agitation
caused by alcohol withdrawal. Diazepam may also be used to treat
insomnia, irritable bowel syndrome and panic attacks.
Other Diazepam brand names include: Dipezona manufactured by
Omega and Lembrol brand by Sanofi-Synthelabo.
